Dr. Sureka Raja

Dr. Sureka Raja is a highly respected and experienced Sonologist who has dedicated her professional life to advancing diagnostic ultrasound imaging with accuracy, responsibility, and patient-centred care. She began her medical journey after graduating from Madras Medical College in 1992, one of India’s most prestigious medical institutions, and soon developed a focused specialization in ultrasound and fetal imaging.

With more than 30 years of exclusive experience in ultrasound diagnostics, Dr. Sureka Raja has played a pioneering role in elevating imaging standards across North Kerala. Her commitment to precision and continuous learning has enabled her to introduce advanced diagnostic practices at a time when specialised imaging services were still emerging in the region.

Pioneer in Ultrasound

Driven by a vision to bring advanced diagnostic technology to patients, Dr. Sureka Raja founded Mediserv Diagnostics in 2000 and introduced the first 4D ultrasound scanning facility in the Malabar region. This pioneering step enhanced prenatal imaging and established the centre as a trusted destination for specialised pregnancy and advanced ultrasound diagnostics.

International Expertise

Dr. Sureka Raja’s expertise is supported by international training and recognised certifications. She has been a member of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) since 2000, received specialised training in 4D Ultrasound from the Vienna International School of Medical Ultrasound, and holds ARDMS Certification in Fetal Echocardiography and Obstetric Ultrasound, ensuring high standards in fetal and maternal imaging.
